Jen is getting her ‘bounce’ back. We have been ‘txting’ – today about her check up visit. I was concerned about re transport because neither of us could help. She’s going by taxi. I called in briefly to see her on Saturday and at that stage she was tired. Often the case about the third day. So that compulsory rest is good. At least she doesn’t have to worry about shopping etc. And her lad (Bill the Bludger) seems quite pleased Mum is home. He is eating better (this had been a concern).
On the Saturday I saws Jen I was returning the older grandchildren home after they had gone hiking with ‘Poppa’ to get fit for school camp. Karangahake Gorge, I’d love to take Timothy and family up there. History, swimming holes, New Zealand bush. Hilary you have better throw common sense to the wind, tell your drama students to throw a fit and beetle down this way. Promise I won’t flirt.
Yes, the children left fit, my larder was empty, and I am recovering thank you for asking.
Love to you all, Jen is uncomplaining, heroic, I am going to the bank for a loan to buy her a flat white.
The picture was taken during the children’s hike near our swimming hole in our lunch gasp – I mean break
Love to all
Bye, dodie
